These are real people. Be kind.

hush is a place to say the thing you can't say out loud. That only works if it stays safe. A few simple rules:

Please do

• Be honest, be human, be kind to the strangers behind each secret.
• React and reply with empathy — a "me too" or a 🫂 can mean a lot.
• Report anything that crosses the lines below.

Please don't

• Post anything sexual involving minors, or anything else illegal.
• Threaten, incite, or celebrate violence.
• Harass, demean, or target people or groups (hate speech).
• Share anyone's private or identifying information (no doxxing).
• Encourage someone to harm themselves.
• Spam, advertise, or post the same thing over and over.

What happens to rule-breaking

Content is screened automatically and reviewed by moderators. Posts that break these rules may be hidden or removed, and sources may be blocked. Enough community reports will hide a secret automatically. Illegal content is reported to the authorities.
